The AKC says they only bark as necessary. Apparently Shorty thinks it's always necessary.

Energetic too!!!

That seems about right, I guess. Dorie (and Sissy) really only barks when there is someone at the door and rarely during play. They can be energetic when they are allowed to run and play, but they easily settle down. Some days it seems Dorie can sleep all day.

Meanwhile willow having 5 or 6 barking episodes yesterday because people walked by our home and delivery drivers...

Yeah I don't dislike it, it'll be helpful when we move out to our property. I love her bark, it's very deep
