I think that’s a Pyr thing. My last dog (Pyr mix) did that. Plus as they get older and into adulthood they tend to slow down in their eating anyways. I think that’s normal. They self regulate a lot I’ve found. But definitely pick a good kibble and stick with it once you find one. Brew loves the Purina One and they have all different kinds. It’s decent priced too.
