IKR!? I should have known though. I remember now I’ve tried before and same thing, few licks or bites if that and then stopped eating it lol but yet human pumpkin food is the best thing ever like muffins

I forgot to put the treats on top though LOL but he ate it at first but then stopped eating it. He was not very impressed with all my hard work.

Also he was not growling. He was licking his lips lmao

I have a new system for feeding the dog so I remember now lol

Recently, there’s been a couple times where I’ve been confused on whether he ate all his food while I was gone (highly, highly unlike him) or whether I just forgot to feed him.

SO.

I put a calendar up on my fridge today and I check off if I did or not for that day lol so just a checkmark. Simple but hopefully effective LOL

So now I’ll know I definitely fed him and if he really did eat all his food or if I forgot LOL

Hopefully I won’t forget though with the new system.

Oh and obviously the previous two times with the empty bowl, I just fed him again because I was almost positive I forgot and either way, I didn’t want him going hungry. But I want to know for sure if I did or didn’t so I’m not accidentally feeding him 6 cups a day LOL

Also I’m having issues remembering other stuff too (non dog related) so I really should talk to my team about it because I’m getting a little worried lol

My dogs are fed by their parents, apparently this is the key to a dog's mood. These dogs have a peculiarity - they protect their parents from me. If I come closer than 10 meters to my parents, the dog starts to growl angrily, and if I come even closer, it bites. And we never taught them anything like that, apparently these are some breed characteristics. This is already the fourth dog (the previous ones died of old age) and all of them, except for one, behave like this. At the same time, the rest of the time, when the parents are at home and the dog is walking outside (we have a relatively large area, fenced with a high and strong fence), I can approach these dogs, pet them and they never growl. At the same time, if I come with a vaccination or eye drops - well, that's it, the dog's mood immediately changes )))

They also have a peculiarity - they go to the toilet exclusively secretly and in a remote place. Most often they do this under a hazel bush growing in the corner of the plot near the fence. And nowhere else. Although we never taught them anything like that.

About eye drops - I examined my dog's eyes carefully today and decided not to use them. The thing is that the inflammation has completely subsided. As soon as I removed the draft, blocking the dog's place (he usually sleeps under the table on the carpet in the utility kitchen) with two cabinets and a soft chair, the dog's eye began to heal quickly, it felt like in principle it was not even necessary to use the drops. And with the drops, the inflammation went away even faster. Well, thank God. I have these drops left, I don't know, I'll probably put them in the refrigerator, let them lie, maybe they will come in handy someday.

The president erected a huge gilded monument to this breed of dog in Turkmenistan. They are simply very popular there and he, as a politician, decided to adapt to the mood of the people and erected a monument to the breed of dog. Well, he himself also keeps such dogs.

We have some kind of stand for feeding, a kind of shelf on which two metal circles are welded, into which bowls are placed. This is a very old stand, it even rusted and broke at one time, but I restored it with the help of an electric cooker.
The dog eats according to his mood - sometimes in extreme heat he stops eating, and when it is freezing outside, he eats more. Although there were cases when we also fed the dogs an extra time - first my father fed, then my mother, then I, and only then we found out that everyone fed the same dog )))
