After watching interactions between Jäger and other dogs and people, I think I've come up with a word to describe his personality. Overbearing. I can deal with it, and my family's dog dealt with it very well, but he is A LOT. He comes on full force with everything he's got for all the play and love in the world. Quite a handful most of the time.

Sounds like willow, she's gotten better with age though and rarely jumps up now. Unless it's someone she knows and really likes

I bought Brew some new flea & tick meds lol the old one didn’t repel the ticks. This one does. It was a little more expensive for the same amount of doses (6) BUT!!!!! I think it’s worth it LOL because I’d rather have something that repels them as well rather than dragging them into the house to jump off onto me or something and THEN killing them or not even killing them because they’ve jumped off onto me or the furniture LOL and this one also repels mosquitoes too so it’s perfect because those can cause heart worm so yeah.

Frontline Shield! I was using Frontline Plus before but the Plus doesn’t repel which I didn’t realize when I initially bought it but opted not to return it and just use it. So this time I opted for the Shield since the Frontline worked well otherwise. But it would be nice to have something cheaper if that exists LOL

This is what I get. It's a cheaper version of K9 Advantix II. My vet says Frontline or anything with the same ingredients as Frontline doesn't work in this area anymore. I know Provecta (from this company) works on my dogs because Luna was just bitten by a tick the other day and it quickly died. It was even past the 30-day reapplication period.

Oh wow I didn’t realize that!!!!! Thanks!!!!!! Mine hasn’t said anything about the Frontline but I think I also switched to it after his visit last year so he doesn’t know yet. I’m gonna ask about it at his visit this year which he’s going in very soon so yeah. But that said, I have found dead ticks on him or on the floor while using the Frontline so maybe in MA it’s still somewhat effective??? IDK. I do think I will try that Provecta or K9 Advantix II next time though just to be safe lol or maybe even return the Shield and buy that now instead. IDK.

That's good that it's working there. I think my vet said the Advantix works for ticks but not fleas and the Frontline works for fleas but not ticks. I could be remembering wrong though.... Anyway, we don't have a flea problem up here so Advantix II/Provecta Advanced works for us.
