Dog thread!🐾

That's good that it's working there. I think my vet said the Advantix works for ticks but not fleas and the Frontline works for fleas but not ticks. I could be remembering wrong though.... Anyway, we don't have a flea problem up here so Advantix II/Provecta Advanced works for us.
Huh, that would be a dilemma if you had a flea problem!!!!! LOL We don’t have a flea problem either so I’ll probably switch to what you’re using LOL

I found chemical flea and tick didnt work. And after a close family dog had a reaction i decided to switch. I found ticks with the chemical flea and tick. But i started using Wondercide flea and tick spray and havent noticed or seen a tick since.
We live in a area with a ton of ticks and wild animals possibly carrying ticks.

Oh wow that’s scary about the reaction!!!!! I think I actually ordered the Wondercide stuff after a friend used it but he hates being sprayed and it was kind of inconvenient doing it every time he went outside lol but I still have it so I might try it again. Although the chemicals do seem to work for us luckily.

Its the opposite i can spray Denver and Tucker. But putting on the chemical flea and tick they hated. The last time i tried to put it on Tucker freaked and wouldnt let me.

Brew doesn’t mind the chemical stuff oddly lol and I give him a treat after too.
I know every dog is different Denver use to let me put it on with no issie then she started hating it. Tucker never really liked it but still let me put it on.
I have just had better luck using Wondercide. But i know in some areas that wont work.

Hmmm interesting. I might try the Wondercide again.

A thread for people obsessed with dog so we can stop derailing other threads! :lau

Doggy questions to get the thread going

-do you show dogs?

-whats your favourite breed/what breed do you want to get?

-introduce your dogs

Me and my Australian Cattle Dog/ Smooth Collie mix -2 yr old female- do some agility, but just for fun. My favorite breeds are Staffordshire Bull terriers, Australian cattle dogs, Cane Corsos, and Doberman pinschers.
