Im sorry Brews walk wasnt good last night.

Its been to hot here to walk. The pups were use to a daily walk. Now for almost 2 weeks there hasnt been a walk. They get backyard play, training and some indoor enrichment. But the pavement is just way to hot.

We waited till like 7 or 7:30 and I tested it, pavement was fine LOL it was shady/not in sun by then.

Our pavement hasnt been cooling off until 9 ish. Last night the bit of rain helped cool it off sooner. But its been up in then 90s to 100s the past few days. Then last week there was storms and this week again

Brew is an idiot sometimes LOL

We had just gotten back from our walk tonight at 5:30pm ish or maybe 5:35? So 22 mins ago or 27 mins ago LOL

Brew stepped on (with right front paw) and then chewed/swallowed some sort of biting/stinging thing as he was making disgusted faces/trying to get it off his tongue. Also he was licking his paw before that.

I of course am watching him now in case he swells up. So far so good though.

Just bought this. LOL Brew’s outside lead’s clasp came undone today and THANKFULLY he didn’t go anywhere and was just laying in the sun BUT it made me think I need a more secure clasp. My dad is going to look for a carabiner in the garage and some rope to replace the outside line but meanwhile, I decided to replace the walking lead too. At least for vet trips etc. Regular walks I might still use the current leash. Idk. I LOVE the current leash BUT that has come undone before too. Thankfully only once and in the vet’s small lobby last year with no other dogs or animals in there so I was able to catch him quickly but still. I decided he needs a more secure leash for vet trips or public trips LOL Maybe I can use current lead for hiking. IDK. But yeah. Current leashes are the bottom style.
