Just bought this. LOL Brew’s outside lead’s clasp came undone today and THANKFULLY he didn’t go anywhere and was just laying in the sun BUT it made me think I need a more secure clasp. My dad is going to look for a carabiner in the garage and some rope to replace the outside line but meanwhile, I decided to replace the walking lead too. At least for vet trips etc. Regular walks I might still use the current leash. Idk. I LOVE the current leash BUT that has come undone before too. Thankfully only once and in the vet’s small lobby last year with no other dogs or animals in there so I was able to catch him quickly but still. I decided he needs a more secure leash for vet trips or public trips LOL Maybe I can use current lead for hiking. IDK. But yeah. Current leashes are the bottom style.

I was just looking at a biothane leash with the top clasp. Somehow i lost Tuckers traffic handle i made. Not sure where i lost it. But i wanted a different clasp for making a new one. Then saw the biothane one. I didnt get it maybe next trip.
Our lab use to break the swivel clips. Luckily Tucker and Denver dont. But their leashes were more expensive or i made them.

Just out of curiosity… has anyone here ever used a muscle supplement with your dogs? Like K9 Power Super Fuel, Myos, Bully Max, etc.? Saw a post about it tonight and it got me thinking about if Brew needs it but I don’t really need or want him JACKED anyways (he’s already strong enough ) plus I need to save money so I’m opting not to buy one atm. But maybe in the future? IDK. Thoughts?

I have heard good things about myos. I see many using it after acl tear surgeries and such, but also with conditioning to help build more muscle. Some dogs have weaker muscles and i do think it would help then.
I wouldnt want my dog to gain to much muscle. I feel thats wrong in my opinion. But to help strengthen and gain some muscle is okay

There is some other strenth conditioning you can do. Get a platform and do rotations with his feont paws on and back paws off. Do ups/downs. There is a lot of different exercises that dont require outdoor work. Especially on hot days.
