Dog thread!🐾

A lot of my dogs take years to develop those types of fears. Generally when younger they don't seem phased by stuff, but as they get older they seem to be more aware of things. Maybe it's like how kids can sleep through anything, but us older people get up at every sound.

Yeah that makes sense!!!!! LOL

Wondering where @Squawkers went. Miss them.
Thanks! Missed you too! I’ve been super busy lately!

Took both pups on a walk.
I was really happy with Tuckers, first a suprise alert. I listened and sat down. Then about 5 minutes later we continued our walk and came across another golden and a person running at the same time, in which Tucker didnt even bark, i was beyond happy. The people/dog were unavoidable. And i prepared for a reaction lightly holding the leash. But he looked at them then at me i said yes treated and we continued. then walked and threw a few treats in the grass as a cool down just as the runner was coming back.

Then Denver had a offleash dog with no owners around try to approach i continued walking she focused for the most part and the dog went on back.
They are such good puppies!!! I’m so proud of Tucker🥹 his reactivity seems about like chases was, and chases is 99% gone. I think you’ll get there!!

Me and my Australian Cattle Dog/ Smooth Collie mix -2 yr old female- do some agility, but just for fun. My favorite breeds are Staffordshire Bull terriers, Australian cattle dogs, Cane Corsos, and Doberman pinschers.
BESTIE!!! YES DOBERMANS ARE THE BEST

Id pick the australian shepherd the golden reteiever, the shetland sheepdog, then its a tie between the leonberger and the clumber spaniel
Well, there is no Doberman, so I’d be passing😔

Ever curious how big this dog is going to get!
He is 5.5 months old. He is almost 24" at the withers, and when he lays down he is about 4' from toes to tail. He is LONG. His paws have almost doubled in size from when we got him as a pup. I have yet to weigh him this month - I need to see if a local grooming place has a scale or something.
He is gonna be such a big boy!!! That’s almost as tall as Chase is now.

Tessa, our Anatolian chicken coop guardian, was at a dog show this weekend in Marietta, OH. She did good!

OH MY GOODNESS!! She is gorgeous!!!!

So pretty!!! She is very athletic! I prefer that build.

I had an appointment at the clinic today. While waiting for my appointment here comes around the corner a gorgeous black and tan Doberman. He was so handsome, and gentle. He stopped to sniff my husband and me, and we pet him. So clean, and shiny. He was huge too. They said he is a therapy dog. I seriously wanted to steal him. Definitely made my day to see him.
Yup, Dobermans do that😏

Watching his triggers without reacting. A cat across the park, a person with a dog, a person running. Im so proud View attachment 4141137
Good boy!!!!!

How is Denver doing now chicky?
And how is tuckers tail?

How is Luna doing stinky?

And @SunriseChickers I TOTALLY MISSED EVERYTHING!!! How is he?? Tell me everything!!

I mostly scanned so sorry if I missed anything!!

Took Chase to the vet! He did really good. First time ever that he hasn’t peed all over everything. 🤦‍♀️ one of his last appointments I took the vet tech an extra pair of socks back up after I left because he got them soaked🤣 he did kinda throw a fit when they tried to take him back to get weighted. I went with him and he was fine after. He was 87 pounds.

I had him in a down stay in the yard and this annoying little dog came up and circled and barked him for a while. I was so proud of him he never even moved!

What a good boy. :) Just some random dog? He was cute. Glad Chase held his stay. That's amazing. Glad to see you back.

Nope lol, he is still as crazy as ever. about a month ago he was left out of his kennel while we were outside and he chewed a bunch of drywall off our wall. 🤦‍♀️
Oh no. I bet that made a mess. Well he’s only a year so he has plenty of time!😆 pretty sure I’ve said this before but Chase didn’t calm down until he was 2.5-3. And with Oakley being a dobie mix (no arguments people) I’m sure it will take that long at least. …Probably not helping am I?

Pepper is 5 and she still gets crated or she will chew up stuff. Some just can't handle being let out. My boxer was crated until 8 years.
