That's what was used to convince me to keep Peppers dewclaws. In hindsight I should have had them removed. Odds of her falling through any ice is 0%. Odds of her scratching me with those sharp razor claws, and me taking 5 minutes each nail trim trying to see through the hair to cut them, 100%.Also⦠interesting video and article LOL

How is the kelp powder given? Just in their food?Tucker is a hard chewer, but is careful at the same time. Denver isnt aggressive, she just chews lightly. Which is why her yak chew barely has a indent.
Duck feet work great for teeth as well as kelp powder. Denver has always had plaque on her back teeth. Even duck feet didnt help(chicken feet are good to) but the kelp powder works. Half of it is gone. We were talking a dental cleaning but its removing itself.
Tucker doesnt have any plaque, which im glad about but i also know why. I loved giving them water buffalo horns but no more. Maybe icelandic sheep horns they are a lot softer.
For Denver yes as she eats in a slow feeder that i can put powder in. For Tucker i do it in a enrichment toy he gets daily because he eats super fast so his food goes into a kong gyro. How is the kelp powder given? Just in their food?

The stuff im using now is from the Chew+Heal brand off chewy. It could be a powder more its a bit more granule but it works.
