Still nothing, and they've been open for two and a half hours! Oh well, maybe they're really busy. I guess I'll give them a call Monday or Tuesday if they don't respond at all today.
I got him some natural fly spray, so I suppose I will keep washing every couple of days and just get the spray on him. Fortunately, it's not a hot, buzzy day.

I technically could, but if I do, I will do it later in the evening in order to give them a chance to respond.

I'm not too pressed to get him in before the weekend. He isn't bothered by it and there was no fresh blood. They're clean now, and there aren't any flies today (thanks, clouds and rain!). I am also pretty sure he's had the spots for a couple of weeks at least (if not a couple weeks more. I saw something there from a distance that looked like bareness a good while ago but wasn't getting up close and personal then), I just didn't notice that it was something odd until yesterday since I've not been doing so much with him due to being pregnant, and now I finally have enough energy to handle him somewhat (he's too strong for me right now, and very high energy, and hubby is very not detailed oriented so didn't even notice them, rip).

Yeah, since I looked into fly strike and other common maladies, I still don't know what it is, but I can deduce enough to be pretty certain it's not an emergency. Still important, of course! Just not going to freak out and time crunch. My sister and her hubby are also visiting right now from Ohio (which is why I was able to hang out with him yesterday and find those spots! He could focus his energy on more than one person), so we are a little busy until after the weekend. If it seemed very serious I'd totally be calling earlier this morning regardless though, lol.

He was happy to flop down under the tree with me. Worst case, husband comes out with me in the evenings and we all just hang out, which sounds fantastic to me, heehee.

Speaking of weight, I wanna see what Brew weighs now!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m waiting to start his weight loss regimen until after the vet appointment so we can see how much he truly weighs BEFORE the diet starts LOL but I DID break his dental chews in half a few days ago so he’s SOMEWHAT on a diet. LOL
