Im so glad he is doing better!!

I'm going to get some more pictures of him today. Picked him up last night and he FELT heavy

I wish Brew was slim and trim again LOL

October 2022, 1 year 9 months old (21 months).

Taken about a week apart. First 3 were October 25th, last two were October 31st.

We all wish we were as trim as when we were younger. Dogs and people fill out as they get older. He's bound to be a bit thicker now. I judge my short haired dogs by whether I can see their ribs when they are moving. I shouldn't see them when they are just standing, but when running I should. Brew is half lab, half pitbull, give or take and both breeds aren't thin breeds when mature. He wasn't fully mature in that photo.

While it's true that older dogs won't be as trim, I believe as they age focusing on keeping them lean is more important than ever because they are less active and are more prone to joint issues.
