Luna might need another surgery, this time for a cruciate ligament which will cost several thousands of dollars. My vet says pit bulls are the most common breed that come in with torn CCLs. So for all those pit bull owners out there, this is your reminder to save up or get insurance for their medical bills!

My former vet recommended I get a mutt because "they have fewer health problems." That has not been the case with any of my mutts. My previous mutt had the same exact problem. It's a very common problem in many breeds.
