I honestly canât remember the last time I had Chase on a leash
Chase is too clingy/trained to leave me. And he minds so well I donât really worry about anything. If he did start to wander off he would come back immediately if I called. My only concern is him getting nervous and reacting with too many people around. I just keep an eye on how he is acting to make sure it doesnât happen. He was not once nervous, even with people being super close, so I wasnât worried after I saw that.

I hate leash laws
most people definitely need them because they have no control over their dogs, but itâs annoying for the people that donât abuse them. Itâs so small town here and no one cares. There are loose dogs everywhere. The cops know I always have Chase off leash Iâm sure
Chase has no desire to leave. I donât know if thatâs just his personality or if it has been drilled into him in training. Heâd throw a fit if I he got separated from me. That was one of the times he almost bit someone once. They grabbed his collar as I was walking away and he snapped.
Yeah itâs kind of annoying but thereâs a lot of people around here so I get it LOL Brew is reactive so Iâm kind of glad there arenât loose dogs everywhere to deal with LOL and oh wow!!!!!! I feel like I would keep him on a leash if he could bite but thatâs me. Totally get why you do what you do lolI hate leash laws
Yeah I definitely understand leash laws. And if I had a bunch of dogs running at me all the time I might decide I like them more
I just wish people who didnât have control over their dogs left them on leash. He only gets like that if people mess with him and itâs rare. He never goes after people without them âstarting itâ if that makes sense. I never let him leave my side if we are around people. Having a leash on him I donât think would have any effect on the possibility of him biting because itâs dependent on what others do and what situations I put him in. I donât allow anyone to pet him and I keep an eye on him to make sure he isnât getting nervous. Just because he is off leash doesnât mean he is âfreeâ. He is still in a strict verbal heel.
Yeah Iâve had two dogs run up to us on walks. Multiple times for both dogs LOL thankfully both were friendly as is Brew but still. Oh and one got loose from the leash and approached but I donât really count that as loose lol and ohhhhhh okay that makes sense and is impressive lolYeah I definitely understand leash laws. they have all been close calls.
The one that got loose lifted its lip a tiny bit and also the other dog with them was losing its mind and probably would have bitten but otherwise no lolLoose dogs are very frustrating.
