Dog thread!🐾

So.

It's been a while since i showed up on this thread

I may or may not have acquired... four dogs yesterday Before anyone panics, my family basically inherited them, they've been left in our responsibility to keep or rehome. They're the last dogs of the breeder of Wizard and Winnie and few of our other tenties. Four dogs is a lot to take on for ANYONE, especially when two are senior. Our aim is not to keep the older two, which is the harder of the options cause rehoming older dogs isn't necessarily easy, the younger two would require a heap of socializing beforehand anyway so even if it's not long term they'll be here for some time.
The first steps though is trying to figure out if they'd all get a clean bill of health... I'm a little concerned about one of the older girls but trying not to overthink it till I sort some vet appointments and I can get actual facts.

Whoa! You've got your work cut out for you! Sounds like those poor dogs weren't treated the best. I hope they're all okay!

Wow, that's a lot for sure! Best of luck with all of that. Hopefully everyone will settle into a routine right quick.

It's honestly such a long complicated story that i always have a hard time explaining but honestly, the dogs were loved, they always were. I mean I look at Wizard, he was adored, one of the favourites apperantly, but came in such bad condition.
These girls are beautiful dogs. Even the shiest one really does just want attention, she's just never had the chance to meet many people so strangers are scary! They're the sweetest little things.

Ah...yeah, I know that some people can love their animals but not realize there is something wrong or they don't know what can or should be done for them.

My 15 year old reminded me "Mama isn't having mamaw and papaw over for thanksgiving, and doing all this cooking enough craziness for one day...why must you get a puppy on top of that? "
