No, but my other dog did so I know what to look for. The vet said it was good that I caught this one early because it was starting to restrict blood flow to her foot and it should be easy to remove since it's still small.

So you know it's cancerous for sure? Catching them early is definitely good! I've seen some crazy lumps and tumors at work lately.

Thanks! I am definitely a little nervous as this will be her first time under anesthesia.

How old is she? I'm sure she's be alright

Yes, the vet looked at a sample and she said it was very obviously a mast cell tumor.

She's 6 1/2 now.

I am seriously considering switching her to a raw diet. I just ordered some freeze-dried raw chews to see how she does with it.

Silky and Velvet (the two new older dogs) both have some mammary lumps that we've got to work out a plan for. We don't know whether they're cancerous yet, the sample the vet got on Silky's showed there was some kind of infection too so it wasn't even suitable for her to have a look at

She's 6 1/2 now.

Thanks! They're honestly such sweet girls. Velvet doesn't like being at the vet But all things considering, they were very well behaved for me yesterday.

That's so great. Dorie's very good at the vet and all the staff love her. She wiggled her tailless butt (a rare occurrence) when the vet tech knelt down to give her a treat.

All my lot have a bad reputation They're either too loud, too hyper, or naughty My family's elderly dog had to be hospitalized recently and she was so naughty I had to help with her meds/checks when I came in
