Dog thread!🐾

Awww. Those kind of dogs are treasures to vet staff :p

All my lot have a bad reputation 🤣 They're either too loud, too hyper, or naughty  My family's elderly dog had to be hospitalized recently and she was so naughty I had to help with her meds/checks when I came in 😭 😅
Oh my! 😆 Well, my pit bull mix has to be muzzled because she snapped at someone, but she's gotten MUCH better over the years. The one vet tech there is amazing and I think she really helped Luna feel more comfortable. I can tell Luna likes her the best.

We've got snow this morning, and Jäger is SO HAPPY. In fact, he surprised us both when he completely ignored my husband bringing his food out to him. He never does that! He's so excited for snow. I was curious to see how happy he'd be, since he liked it so much when we got him in Feb.
His birthday is next Saturday, not sure what we'll do for him! Hopefully there is more snow. 😆

Brew is pretty good at the vet’s. He gets anxious and pants a lot and when he’s in the exam room, he’ll try to go to the doors/run away, but lets him do everything. And he loves all the techs and even tries to go in their little office area 😭🤣 he even likes the vet when he’s not poking and jabbing him LOL he’s very forgiving so even with the vet doing everything or me doing his nails, anything where he perceives it as you trying to hurt him or being mad at him or whatever, he’ll just try to kiss you or climb in your lap or wag his tail or anything to make you stop and “forgive” him for what he thinks he did rather than getting aggressive. He even took a treat from the vet at the end LOL I will say though, I do have to him still and hold his head just in case for shots and the temperature thing and all that. He HATES the thermometer LOL but still doesn’t get aggressive even then. And I also have to not drag but gently tug the leash and encourage him to go into the exam room because he tried to run down the hall this last time 😭🤣 he willingly goes in once you give him a little guidance lol same with baths. I lead him in there with a leash and he realizes he doesn’t really have a choice in this and goes right in. If I SAY bath time before I get a leash on him, forget it. He will run and hide. 🤣 but I’m rambling now.

Also remember how I said he is REALLY good sometimes!? Well, I put him on his outside leash and then came in to eat something because I was starving and I figured, he’s on a leash, he’s fine. Yeah, well, I decide to go check on him after a bit… he was in the middle of the yard just sniffing. Little brat had somehow slipped his collar! He wasn’t even stuck either so he must have just decided he wanted more freedom or maybe it came off by accident, idk. Anyways, he could have easily taken off but he stayed in the yard. As far as I know anyway. No posts on the neighborhood FB page. I’m lucky. I also called him immediately of course and he came running right over. Lucky again. He could have tried to play keep away. I think he knew he wasn’t supposed to be over there/off the leash. 🤣😭 anyways, we found the collar together (he stayed with me. Lucky again.), still attached to the leash LOL I put it back on him and immediately tightened it. It was pretty loose before but even still, I didn’t think it was so loose it would slip over his fat head. 🤣😭 I brought him inside after that.

What's a "horrible amount" to you? 🤣 A horrible amount to me is so little the grass shows through.
enough you need 4 wheel drive to get up and down a road.
We have gotten at least 6 inches since this morning. Already cleared the driveway once. Will have to do it again.
