Dog thread!🐾

Same with him. Multiple beds but we also have a couch and chairs and my bed. He has his own chair. :lau :hide
I was adamant about letting my current dogs on the furniture. I bond with my dogs so much better when they are allowed to. My parents' dogs I grew up with weren't allowed on the furniture or even an entire floor of the house for most of their lives. I didn't have as much of a connection with those dogs.

Awww yeah ours were always allowed on the furniture but I can’t imagine not allowing them on a whole entire floor! :ep :lau

They were very stinky, heavy shedding dogs so I can understand why they weren't allowed in the main living spaces. But those dogs got very bored when no one was on their floor (the walk-out basement).

My parents were pretty strict when we had six dogs (you kinda have to be though with that many 🤣) not allowed on furniture or in the kitchen (though due to moving to new house with different floor plan they didn’t keep up with the kitchen rule) I like sleeping with puppy :p

🤣 well I’m too ocd to let that happen to mine… I wash top blanket often and bathe Chase often too (under normal circumstances when he’s with me at least)
Either way we are making sacrifices to have our dogs in our beds with us. Dorie doesn't just use the top blanket - she's a burrower (as are most Bostons) - and she can leave some nasty stuff on the sheets! :gig
