Dog wets the bed

I'm certain the vet will also check for a UTI. Our one dog - diagnosed diabetes - frequently scratches at teh dor to be let out, but sometimes dribbles or leaks with no seeming awareness he is doing so. Our other dog, two UTIs past 12 months, would leave a huge puddle, no warning at all, then behave as if nothing happened.
Thank you. Hopefully we can set something up soon.

Both diabetes and kidney failure can cause urinary incontinence and excessive urination. To keep urine from getting on everything you can get some doggie diapers. What you want are called male wraps and they go around the dog's middle to catch the pee. You can get either disposable wraps or washable wraps. The disposable ones are made of the same stuff baby diapers are made of. The washable ones have a pocket for a sanitary napkin to fit inside. I have used both and they worked very well.
