Well............I feel somewhat better that they will not DIE! The chickens and dogs will share the same paddock. But I pick up immediately after my dogs (if I am there) and if not later in the day. I never let the "lawnmower do it" like some of my neighbors!
When I first got the pups they would always eat the bunny poo...aka bunny caviar and they never got sick. I heard on the radio that dogs LOVE bunny poo is because rabbits only eat the tops of carrots or greens! So it is pure nutrition coming out of them! Smart rabbits.
So perhaps the same concept can be applied to chicken feed...especially if there is vegetables in the diet.
