Dogs are the worst predator, I swear Amazing update!

If he refuses to help/pay (& there’s not already a fence there), don’t build right on your property line. Build 6”-1’ into your yard. That way he CANT share your fence but has to build his own.

Awwww that's terrible..The people next to me have a young Dog that has zero training and it comes down to my Coop and charges at me. My two try to chase him off. I run right at him and have a rake at my Coop to throw at him. The idiot stands up in his yard and laughs. I yell out terrible things that I'll do to his dog on my property..:gig
We plan build a fence this summer to separate our properties and hope he pays or help?..:idunno

They are gloriously beautiful! We plan to have a rooster with the laying hens and I have to admit having a beautiful boy is very appealing.
And entertaining. Missing their funny antics was one of the things I was grieving over when I thought they'd been killed.

Yes..That's what I told my Husband...:frow...:highfive:

Morning update: Both boys are behaving normally. Their combs are still dark on the top edges, but the black has faded significantly from yesterday. It's probably a light case of frostbite, but no swelling or blistering. Combs are warm so the blood supply to those dark areas hasn't been compromised.

I feel so fortunate to have them back with only minor consequences to their health and well being. Thank you again for the support you guys supplied throughout this ordeal.

So glad to hear they are good this morning. I was nervous about there being one more drop on this roller coaster.:highfive:

One last update. As it has turned out, both boys suffered significant frostbite to their combs. Since Strawberry, the older one and father of Toots, suffered frostbite a few years ago, he was much more vulnerable and is now suffering from a very swollen and blistered comb. Both are being treated with Vetericyn and baby aspirin but are otherwise in good shape in spite of their ordeal.
