Wow! And these are actual pit bulls, not the other breeds that are just called pit bulls? I've heard lots of bad things about pit bulls, but I suppose it's not true!

Cool! Are there certain things that certain breeds are better at?

Yeah my dogs are American pitbull terriers most "pitbulls" that you see around are american bullies but honestly they are really just mutts ignorantly bred for looks, a mix of different terriers and bully breads, they don't look anything alike really. American pitbull terriers are not really that big, under 60-ish pounds, very lean and athletic, much more stamina, very loyal they were bred for a purpose not just a check like bullies are. Bullies are the reason people hate real pitbulls, Most bites blamed on pitbulls are actually bullies. Pitbulls were bred not to ever bite a human, you should be able to reach in between two fighting pitbulls and pull them apart without fear of being bit, if you did get bit they would never use that dog for breeding no matter how perfect it was in all the other ways.

Lol now that my rant is over ...

there are definitely certain breeds much better at certain tasks than others, there have been dogs bred for just about every purpose. I don't even know where to begin lol

A sweet stray decided to show up on my door step the other night! Definitely a coondog mix he's so beautiful. Already treed a coon since he's been here so I may keep him around when I get my chickens. Trying to upload a picture but it won't load from my phone

Wow! I looked up american pitbull terrier and they don't even quite look the same as all the dogs I see in shelters that are called pit bulls! I'll have to look into this more, since, from what you say, they are very nice dogs.

@DuckGirl77 you are very welcome, I love real Pitbulls and it hurts my heart that they are lumped in with those mutts, I'm glad I could teach you something ^_^

We actually rescued all but 2 of the dogs... our Pyrenees and the Labrador
but all are loved and cared for.. once a month we sit on the floor and dremel
toe nails because they are always on grass here but have most of 3/4 of
first is Fear, second Raudy, 3rd is Snow, 4th is Ticha 5th is Niki she was Moms dog then dementia made her forget she got her
so we have her

Last but sure not Least is our Moose or Moosinator or mooseyman
and acre to play
