Gracie is beautiful. I am so glad you got to her before the police did. Every injured dog doesn't need to be put down.

Our neighbors had a gorgeous old brindle pit bull Wolfgang. When I first saw them - she was walking him and let him off lead. I thought "Oh no." But I decided to walk right past them. She saw me coming and put the lead back on him. When I was close enough we both exchanged pleasantries. I asked if it was alright to pet him. She gave him the okay and he was smiling - honestly. . and wagging furiously. I pet him and rubbed his ears and he looked like he was in heaven.

Every time afterwards if he saw me, he started crying until she told him go. Eventually she told me he didn't cry about anyone else.. and ignored strangers. I trust dog opinions over humans, and was just beaming that he liked me as much as I liked him.

That is why the old dog club I was in back early 70 coined nurture not nature and train don't complain

If I'm lucky about 3/4ths of them would be, the male has 2 recessive blue genes. I usually have a litter of 8-10 pups so 6 or 7 hopefully you can never really tell until they are born, honestly all could be blue or none could be, it's a fickle thing

Awwwp,s sorry penny1960 :'( when my graycie disappeared and got hit by the car I was distraught. Upset in so many ways, we called the police and animal control and they said they would call us if anyone reported anything, I if course couldn't wait so we went driving, I spotted her in a ditch and jumped out of the car just as a cop was getting out of his car , nobody ever called me they were just going to put her down. She was less than an 1/8th of a mile from the house.

She better now besides loosing her hearing. She doesn't roam anymore, we grew up on a farm with 54 acres and when I moved into the suburbs I brought her, she just didn't know. pitbulls live to be between 8 and 15 on average and at 10 she's getting kinda old and gray faced, When she dies a part of me will die with her

I will tell my wife you like her pics, one of her loves is photography when she can find time away from her Norma 9-5 job she does smaller weddings/ elopements and alot of family photos, she loves to do home birth photography .. she does do artsy photography too.^_^

Yes. She fits perfect with our family. We are always on the go and so is she. She hated truck rides till we left her alone long enough now she loads up without me having to pick her big butt up lol
