Found the problem on the turner. Somehow, the little hook thing that connects the turner with the motor was bumped off. I dont think the eggs have been in that position the entire time as I seem to recall them facing the opposite way, too. On the other hand, I dont know exactly when it was disconnected from the motor arm. In any case, they are back in the turner now and it should be working just fine. Hopefully, that little bit of non-turning didn't hurt anything.
