One thing about chicken farming is it has introduced me to some people. Ive got a gal who works at tractor supply. She got into chicks about the same time i did. I get most of her roos and we have traded in the past. Shes into silkies but they wont leave to coop. Ive got a couple that wont co in the coop. We worked out a deal. Ill be trading my 2 black silkies for a white silkie and a roo. I love his coloring and cant wait to get them.

I actually ended up with two of her babies. A faverolle and orpington. The owner says she doesn't mind being mated and goes broody a few times a year. She also said this fluff ball wll hatch and raise anything you put under her.
