DOMESTIC DUCK AT A LAke

We have quite a few domestics living in the wild in the condo complex near my house. They do just fine on their own...they look very healthy and happy.

My guess is your duck is alright, he/she is just at the other end of the lake or visiting another lake just for the sake of exploration.

If you really feel the duck is in need, adopt the guy. Good friends are hard to come by. I agree with Miss Lydia; use her method, it sounds foolproof.

Please post pix, even if you take them with your cellphone. He sounds beautiful!

When the Mallards fly off for the winter that duck will be stuck, I hope someone will befriend it and take it home. Thanks for updating.
