YAY! I'm so thrilled that you're doing this!! Don't let the gander intimidate you. If you show him who's boss, he'll crumble! Their job is to look big and intimidating to scare off predators. So if you look bigger and more intimidating, he'll give in.

Put the crate where it's going to ride and pick up the goose and put them in it, bring plenty of towels[old] to throw over their heads if you think they may try to bite. or old blankets.​

Trying to find funds for crates right now, they ain't cheap, since haven't found loaners yet!

Ha ha! Just HAD to happen on the Holidays!

But I'm happy the Geese will be home with us for Christmas! Must find eight more little stockings for the fireplace!

Waiting for my friend to talk to her hubby tonight about his truck and ability to help. He's actually caught & moved Geese before, but it's a heck of a drive for him, especially so close to the holidays, so we'll see!

No, just the x-pens to corral them with. I don't even know of anyone that would have crate's that large. Was wondering about maybe a horse trailer or something like that. May be able to find someone with one of those. Then we could just herd the geese up in to that. We'll see what I can come up with. I'm nothing if not creative!

If you have an animal shelter close you might ask about them loaning crates, they should have plenty.
