I got some turkeys last summer and my hen just laid an egg, she laid one egg on the floor of their pen and came back out and never returned to it. Should I leave her alone and let her do her thing or get the egg and put it in the incubator?! Please help I'm new to this!

Hens don't stay with their eggs unless they go broody (meaning when they want to hatch). Do you have any tom turkeys or just hens? If you don't have toms, her eggs will not be fertile.

Yes I have one Tom. They both just walk around like nothing's going on. I have a ramp built from their pen to the barn where I have a roost pole and some hay, and she laid the egg right on the wood floor no where near the hay.
