Sorry quick question. My brain isn't playing nice with me right now.
Dominant white male x chocolate female

Can someone explain how the dominant white male will work with sex link chocolate female. She only has 1 gene. What cod ate make and female chicks?

Males need two copies for it to be expressed.
So here's the tricky part. Males need 2 copies to be expressed. So being that the rooster would be dominant white, homozygous, he would pass 1 dominant white to his male chicks and the female would pass chocolate. Would the male chicks be all white or like a black paint? The female is chocolate but under that black right?

They could be all white with one dominant white gene but most often one copy doesn't cover completely so you get the paints..
As far as "black" paints the odds would favor it but not knowing exactly what genetics he has you can't say for sure.
He could carry barring which could show. He could be blue or splash underneath so you could get a blue paint. There could always be a surprise.

I would say that is correct. Not my bird so I can't say for sure but if she is a nice even colored chocolate with no.leakage or anything I'd assume she is.
