Brown heads can make noise, but of the parrots that can talk and have some brains, they are one of the most quiet.
I should caution anyone who wants a brownhead, Make sure it is hand fed, but NOT HANDFED BY YOU.
Unlike the vast majority of parrots that view this as bonding, brown heads view you as their parent and when they reach sexual maturity they reject their parents.
Thats what happened to me, cause I hand fed mine

uh oh! i weaned him off of babyfood. i fed him like that for awhile and slowly but surely weaned him off.

Quakers don't have that problem, hand feeding a Quaker yourself is a Good idea.

I don't know what to make of it, this is not what im used to when birds get sick.

I just went outside and checked on the chickens.
Domineaks right eye is now wide open, she is no longer puffed up, she's eating, scratching and acting normally.

I want to thank you all who helped me out on this, I'm not gonna assume that she won't have a small relapse but I do think she has made good headway on recovery from, whatever the problem was.(knock wood), (I still suspect a scratched eye or some foriegn object in it).

I must say in all honesty, when I had experience with parrots, I really never had to deal with any of the medium to larger ones getting sick, it was the smaller ones that got sick and died.

I guess the bigger the bird the more hardy they are, And the more "wimpy" when it comes to showing illness.

Thanks again,
