Doms have "Rose" combs, and Barred Rocks have "Single" Combs. That's the differents.

what is the difference between rose combs and single combs???​

About the whole single comb/rose comb thing--my avatar has a rose comb. The brown hens (RI Reds) in this picture have single combs:

(The barred hen in the back is a Dominique and so is my avatar.)

These girls are adorable

Here's the only pic I have of Dorothy Dominique. Shes' the one on the left. Sadie Sussex is in the middle, and Wendy Welsummer is on the right.

BTW, I also have a BR. They are both sweethearts. Dorothy sounds like a duck when she clucks, though, and she has the most hilarious run I have ever seen in a chicken.
