Age: 1 year
I got this hen a few months ago from another BYCer because she was a terror in her flock. Sh would come up behind and peck the woman. The lady became afraid of her and wouldnt turn her back to her. This is my specialty! I seem to be the "mean chicken adopter" so I drove out and picked her up. Well, Elain is just the sweetest girl in my flock! Yes, she does come up behind and "peck" you but it isnt mean at all! She just wants attention! She follows me around as I go through my outside routine. Many times she comes out to the picnic table to see if she can mooch any treats. Here is a pick of her stealing the last of DH's tomato the other day:

And here she is in the coop when I first got her. It was hard to get her pic because she always wants to get in my lap!
