but 16 weeks old is typically too young for a dominique to lay. If this was a leghorn, I'd agree with you...Look like pullets soon to lay.

Hey! First time with Dominiques. I have 2, both at 16 weeks, and one is started to look a bit cockerel. Hoping I'm wrong and it is a big beautiful girl. They both have identical feathering but the faces are... a bit different. Are these side things sign of a rooster? When they were little they both had the perfect dot (but one did have slightly darker legs).
