Very Interesting chicks, I believe they are Heterozygous Dun I^D/i+, self buff can hide many diluters some of this diluters affect both gold and black colors.

So what would the phenotype of that be exactly?

Here are some updates! Unfortunately, the cockerel got taken by the forest last week. I wish I'd gotten good pictures of him beforehand, because he looked a fair bit different than the pullet.

She's got a rose comb as expected, but the most bizarre, blue-hued white shanks. Her father had yellow & her mother had white. Her brother had yellow shanks like their father. She's the only one that has them. Even her half-siblings whose mothers also had white shanks have yellow like the father.

Here are some of her EE half-sibling litter mates. This is unrelated, I just got some beautiful birds out of the clutch and wanted to show them off. I think that the beard with the barred coat and the walnut comb is so beautiful! Some of the cockerels are just too gorgeous that I might keep them.
