I also seen his Russian Orloffs with were in a pen next to the red Dominique's and they looked entirely different

That's really neat! Did he mean that they were mutations from his black/white stock?

I would have to say they aren't game fowl

They are gamefowl. I had interest in such until a year or so ago. The dom / crele colored games predate even the American dominique. It is possible that much of the foundation going into development of American doms initially as a landrace initially involved games (Old English / Spanish) kept over many generations as dunghill fowl.
