Is there a good breeder in Nothern IN, Southern MI, or surrounding areas? I'm willing to drive for chicks if reasonable distance. I'm near South Bend.

On the phone he said he wasn't shipping any more this year. I don't like shipping anyhow, but I was contemplating and just contacted him to find out. That was a couple of weeks ago

If I can't find a good breeder, are there any hatcheries that anyone recommends? I really don't like buying from any hatchery and may not. Just wondering if there are any anywhere that resemble a good Dom.

I'm not showing - just for home flock but prefer a good bird to start with especially if I end up breeding any of them.

@duluthralphie Love the spike and U-shape on your roos. I couldn't see a leader on the 3rd pic but the stance was at an off angle. It is so hard to get good pics of a perfect stance IMO -- my birds "freeze" or "flee" when I have a camera in hand. I've got to get them used to a tripod.

Does anyone know anything about Sand Hill Preserve? I was reading their "about" information the other day. Anyone have experience with them or know anyone that has?
