Peeper dudes!

This is my one and only hatchery Dom hen. She's sort of a rescue as she was destined for the stew pot because of her "curley toes". Hence her name Curley. She lays a 2 1/4 oz egg about every 14 days. Despite this, she's my favorite.

Thanks everyone! We have 6 little fuzzy babies now! But I'm a little worried because she still has 13 eggs left in the nest and has already gotten up off it and come out onto the grass with her biddies. They've been exploring the exciting land of the little 2 x 4 ft. run I made them all afternoon. I'm afraid the others won't hatch out now?

Were they all laid MOL at the same time,or did she just get broody and other hens left eggs for her to babysit? Do you have a way to candle them to be sure there is a chick? Assuming they are fertile, and there is a chick inside, get them into an incubator and they'll do okay. For the next few days, any that hatch you can possibly still slip under her at night.

No incubator? Try a Styrofoam cooler with a towel, a glass of water, and an incadescent lightbulb. There are probably instructions on BYC telling ytou how to do it. You can get a thermometer that also measures humidity at Walmart for under $7.00.

I got my straight run order today and Im really having a hard time sexing them. I read up on how to sex them but now that theyre here i find it difficult. Some have one spot on their heads but almost all yellow feet and some have numerous spots or scattered and their feets are dark in color. Here are some pics I really only need about two or three roos. Im hoping the majority are pullets.
Im posting some pics and a video in hopes that some may chime in with their thoughts.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for this info. Buffalogal! She is sitting on them again (now that it's night time) but if she gets up off them again tomorrow I'll try the homemade incubator method. There were a group of maybe a dozen of them that I marked with a sharpie that she initially sat on, and then she "adopted" several other eggs throughout the broody process that my other hen laid. So I don't think they were all laid at the same time. I'll try to candle them also to make sure we have chicks in there. Just hoping they are not all dead after today

Here are some better pics I took this morning of what I think have the possibilities of being roos.
The other 13 in my opinion are pullets.
Please chime in with what you all think.
