Something of interest in respect to my dominique crosses that might indicate something of interest about pure domininques. I am creating crosses with a game rooster involving multiple lines of dominques. Chicks are tagged according to line and hen they are out of. Even though all have same pop, the chicks appear to differ quite a bit as a function of who their mother is. Sample size in respect hens (n = 7) is small but does suggest some interesting variation still hidden in dominiques under that barred pattern.
