I've got one Dominque, Dora the explorer, and she is a tough little gal. She forages like a little worker bee.

Could someone send me a picture of Dominque eggs. I can't figure out which egg is hers amongst my mix.

And oh btw, my little gal is going broody. First time for her. I'm trying to break her of it cause I've got two other gals sitting on eggs right now. I really don't need so many chicks.

The three eggs together are from my dominques and the other two are from my rhode island reds for something to compare the to

Wow, so they're pretty dark in color ... and here I thought she was laying a light colored one. I had no idea. Thanks so much. With the mix of chickens it's always hard to tell who is laying what.

I saw it all so..
Most have a very pinched tail. They really need to be more fuller and more arched like the American gamefowl.
But that is just my 2 cents..

I have a young Dom roo up for anyone who wants to pay shipping: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=335004 He has an arched tail and is very nice. He was from a November 4th, 2009 hatch. I only got one pullet and he needs some girlfriends- the one is not enough, and I have too many breeds going right now.
