All my Domineckers are still growing and doing well. These birds crack me up, lots of personality and fun to watch.

I finally got the fenced run done for them on the coop, it took them two days of staring out the door before they'd come out!

Rocks? Not supposed to be, straight run Doms from Meyer. Some variation in size and comb, but got lots of culling to do on the roosters in the coming weeks. Got 27, want to get it down to 8-10 hens and a few roos before long.

Did finally get them out of the coop with some bread scattered along the ramp to the door. They still seem to like inside better than out though.

Snow? I can't wait for that for lots of reasons! Just hoping they don't learn how to swim this weekend, TS Danny is coming fairly close to the coast and I always have problems with tides, part of the reason I raised the coop floor 2' off the ground!

Well, perhaps that's what's going on, however, I wouldn't think there would be that many singles in a group of Doms. Once Privett sent a shipment of supposed "Dominiques" to the local feedstore. Every single one of them had a single comb--they mixed up the order or were using the old country way of calling every barred bird a "Dominecker".
