Don’t know Silkie chick color

I have just recently gotten 12 silkie chicks, cutest little things ever, I got assorted colors and one of them I am unsure of the color. I have researched to find out what color it is and just can’t figure it out. To me it appears to be partridge, but it doesn’t quite look like partridge even. I know I got blue, black, white, and buff.

My guess is some shade of blue.

ChickenWhisperer101 Thanks you for giving me an idea, it’s hard to tell. I have been looking around and can’t really find anything quite like it. I guess time will tell

I think those penguin chicks can turn out to be pure black in some breeds. See the Australorp pic here.

But...I also have a penguin chick and it is growing brown wing feathers so you might be right about a partridge type.
