Predator update: Despite having 14 peeping ducklings in their new outside house - which is somewhat predator safe (Hardware cloth, Bolted down on 2" wooden floor, bolts secured with wire and Capsaicin paint) - Nothing showed up last night. I slept like a cat, waking up every 2-3 hours and watching the DuckyCam as well as looking out of the window.
Another thing i noticed today: The craws are back in large numbers! Good for the Ducks, not so good for the ducklings, so far they stayed away from the duckling house.

Well hadn't heard the coyotes in a while thinking they may have all gotten wiped out but sirens just went off and so did the coyotes . Good thing we took the pistol with us when we went walking today.
