Beautiful large Australorp roo to donate. He was not ordered and not planned. If someone wants him I am happy to donate him to you for whatever (food, flock) and I have put up a notice for local people (agricultural area here). Otherwise he will be put down by the vet. He has become aggressive with the roo I DID intend to raise and I thus have to make a choice. I have no issue if you cull him for food, but I can’t do it myself. Near Oswego NY for reference.

I would recommend trying hard to find someone who would cull and eat him, as putting him down would be a waste. You can post on the buy sell trade section of this website. Where are you located? You can post on your state/country thread that you can find in the where am I, where are you section of this website as well. Some pictures might attract more attention to, good luck!

I agree. I would much prefer to make his life meaningful by feeding someone at least. My state/area board on here seems unused. I think I was the first person to post in a year. Ha. Here are a couple of moderately awful pics but he is a very handsome fella and makes me sad to see him go.

He is a pretty boy, too bad you have to give him away

Holy cow guys thank you! I put him up on Craigslist and within an hour someone wanted him! Plus he is going to use him for breeding and a protector for his hens so no stewpot right away. I could not be happier for Henry and thanks SO much to all of you for the ideas. You’re the best!
Hey, that's great.... He's a Blue Australorp correct? I'm glad he went to a good home either way.

He's a looker for sure.

Black Australorp but yep! Me too. As we may move in a year or two, may one day have 8 more remarkable layers and a roo to donate. Seven hens and minimally I get six eggs a day. Now that temps have hit 50 Charles seems content to crow alllllllll day long. Allllll day long.
