Oh my goodness!

I can't go to TSC because of those "discounts"! Lord have mercy! The last time I was in there they had DUCKS for 50 cents each.

Good darn thing they weren't my favorite breed.

Enjoy those fluffy little things.

The ducks looked to be either Peking or golden 300. They were labeled as assorted.
I am guessing Peking due to gigantic size.

If they were Cayuga, appleyard or Welch I would have been in real trouble.

I was in TSC the other day admiring the ducklings. An employee came over and told me they were on sale. When I asked her what breed of ducks they were, she said "Yellow ones".

Nah, not my favorite breed

I asked one of the employees at my tsc, they were Pekins, but she said “oh..um...” she looked it up— and said “mallard.”. I looked at her and I said “those aren’t mallards.” And she was like “MHM! YES THEY ARE ILL SHOW YA-uh..”
Then I showed her the ones that looked like “the yellow ones”.
last year i know the totally forgot about that information, or even quit

If they were any of those I would’ve bought them all! I love golden 300, Pekins, Cayuga, appleyards, and welshies! I love all breeds! BUT— if there were crested, I would’ve bought the store if they would give me allllllllll the crested! (And other breeds too)

I love golden 300 because you can just pick out the light babies if you want a girl— it’s as simple as that!

Good to know that about the goldens. I couldn't be certain though and since hubs is 1000% against getting ducks I had to pass.....we live in town and I have 30 chickens.....he does not find it funny when I say "so what's a few ducks really when I have so many chickens?"
