don't know if this goes here but it is a emergencie

There is a heracane coming and i have chicks that are a week and 1 day old, if the power does go out how will i keep them warm

Cover them right away with heavy blankets and or heavy towels . The heat from the heat lamp and their body heat will stay in the box or what ever you might have them in .

I know this works because last winter my power went out for 3 days and i put heavy blankets and towels over their home hehe and they all made it thru fine

Do you know anyone, or have anyplace to go with a generator? Gotta... has great ideas, maybe add a hot water bottle. Good luck
