Barred rock. I see a straight comb and a head spot.

If my eyes deceive me and the chick has a flat (rose or pea) comb, then it's a Dominique or an Easter Egger.

My husband came in saying it was rock something he just cant remember , it might ring a bell now to him!

Given the barring indicated by the head dot, yellow showing under the wash and on the feet and what looks like a single comb from what glimpse can be seen... and the fact it is unlikely they would have male black sex links in that particular setting the most likely answeer is barred rock
