Barnyard mixes from a flock with bantams and standards running together can yield offspring that are in between standard and bantam size, too. Hard to say whether they are younger than you were told or aren't going to be standard size. Was told these two were 5-6 week RIR cross, but they're awfully tiny (Being new I thought they were around the same size as my EEs... wrong!) What do you think? RIR bantam x?

Thank you for letting me know, that makes me sad because I didn't order any Easter Eggers . . . .Your bird looks like a easter egger cockerel. Definitely not a golden laced Wyandotte!
Ouch that blows. I'd be very sad too but hopefully he will be a very sweet guyThank you for letting me know, that makes me sad because I didn't order any Easter Eggers . . . .
Did you get them from a place with a free "rare" chick? That hatchery considers EEs to be rare.Thank you for letting me know, that makes me sad because I didn't order any Easter Eggers . . . .
He is a goofy one and I love them all to pieces. Only hoped for one roo - bought a cemani from a breeder (and ordered all pullets - or so I thought) from a feed mill that we've done business with for over 20 years. They got in 1,000's and I now have a feeling I also have a pullet easter egger and no silver/gold wyandottes that I ordered because they looked similar as peeps and have none of that beautiful lace fish-net stocking look. . . I think these two were for someone else. Note to self, you want a specific breed, get from a breederOuch that blows. I'd be very sad too but hopefully he will be a very sweet guy
