Golden sebright bantamsPlease help three gorgous chickens but dont know what they are!
The first is a red star, the second a white leghorn. They both look like females to meView attachment 1062363 View attachment 1062364 View attachment 1062365 View attachment 1062366 View attachment 1062367 View attachment 1062368 View attachment 1062369 I have a few I want opinions on, the first two are supposedly sexed production layers but they have big combs! Unknown age.. maybe 5 weeks? Rose is the brown one, canary is white.
Looks like a mixed breed. Probably a male if it took awhile for him to feather outThis little one is finally getting feathers. My daughters ag class hatched this 'bantam' but we have no clue what it is. She/he has stayed small and fuzzy forever it seems. Hatched the week before Easter and just feathered this past week. Breed and gender anyone?View attachment 1063448
PulletView attachment 1062370 View attachment 1062371 View attachment 1062372 Next is chamomile, she wouldn't cooperate for her photo shoot and flew off after a couple. She's gorgeous so I'm hoping pullet!
Yup! The rest are females! Please someone, tell me that these are all hens. I've already discovered one rooster, and I'm fairly sure the rest are girls. I'm a little paranoid now though, so want to double check with people more educated at this than I am. They are ameracauna, bantam and australop. Please set my mind at ease!View attachment 1063104 View attachment 1063108 View attachment 1063109
RoosterView attachment 1062825 View attachment 1062826 View attachment 1062827 View attachment 1062825
Twelve weeks old. I took these today.
Looks like a roosterView attachment 1062375 View attachment 1062376 View attachment 1062377 View attachment 1062378 View attachment 1062380 View attachment 1062381 View attachment 1062382 And then I have hawk! I've posted her before and everyone thought pullet but now her comb is pink and I'm wondering if this puff of raised feathers on her back is the start of saddle feathers? She's 8-9 weeks
Rooster for sureYes please help! I have a chicken that I am not sure is a rooster or a hen. I order blue Favaucana a from My Pet chicken and order 1 rooster. Unfortunately the mail lady put them under a fan to keep them cool so all chicks died except 3 of the 15. my pet chicken was great about it and replaced my favacaunas with hens but the one that survived I can't tell if a rooster or not. I thought it was a hen but it is acting very aggressively towards the females. Chasing them and grabbing them an dplixking out feathers. They were all raised together, same age. They are about 4 months old now but not crowing but it looks different than the other favacaunas. I will try to post a pic. I am getting worried about the aggressiveness.
