I'm not a black australorp am I?

This pullet is 20 weeks old, not laying yet, no comb to speak of, starting to get a fluffier neck and grow cheek muffs. I'm new to chickens, but as she grows I'm fairly certain she is not the black australorp she was meant to be. She gets along well with the others so she's still a keeper, but what is she? Will she be a good layer? Is her breed cold hardy? TIA

Looks like an Easter Egger. Whether or not she's a good layer is something you will have to find out. Mine are outstanding layers, but other report that their Easter Eggers barely lay at all. They are very cold hardy.

I got my chicks at the end of May so I think they are about 2.5 months old. But is this Welsummer a rooster?? I heard her (him?) crow today! I can't have a rooster where I live so I'd love some help!

I only have two other chickens and they are different breeds so that one is definitely my Welsummer. Thanks! Looks like he'll need a new home
