Thx! Could I ask how you tell the difference? Is it just by comb color, or something else too?

Good question! I can tell by the size of the comb, and the color too. Roosters combs are red or pinkish at that age while females are orange.

Interesting would be nice if you're right. Always nice to get more hens than cockerels

They are beautiful and not too common. Hard to find any good information about them.. especially about sexing young ones. Aaand it's a pretty slow growing breed, so I'm getting a bit inpatient to find out their genders

4weeks or so. I got it from TSC in bantum bin. She seems to have some black on her wings and tail.

Oh ok! Maybe she is a light sussex bantam. Thats what she looks like.
