I have a few for you if you're game!

This chick (and all pictured below) is just over 2 weeks old. She looked like my other Welsummer chick at first, but a bit bigger...and now there seem to be speckles appearing?

This one below is the Welsummer chick the one above looked like for a while...no tail feathers to speak of yet though...another BYC member is pretty sure I have a cockerel...never hurts to get a second opinion? ;-) I think I'm probably just in denial on this one...

The next two are the same chick...supposed to be a standard White Cochin...same age as everybody else, but definitely smaller. Do you think I got a Bantam by mistake? And do you think cockerel or pullet? Second pic is aerial shot for comparison

Yes, I think you got a bantam for sure. Not sure of sex though, The First one looks like a speckled Sussex. Here is a picture of one.

I know silkies are near impossible to sex, but thought I'd give it a shot..my two bantam silkies are around 7 weeks.

Both look like females to me. But can't be that sure since silkies are so hard to sex
